About the Role
The StartUP Center believes that our Mental Health IS our Wealth and is seeking a Wellness Coordinator. The Wellness Coordinator manages our Mental Marvels participant care and business/nonprofit resource needs. They will assist participants in connecting with suitable business professionals, networks, and resources to ensure effective support and overall wellness.
Responsibilities include:
• Administration: Preparing and keeping updated Mental Marvels Sign-In Sheets, spreadsheets, and surveys.
• Managing Mental Marvels Care: Checking on Mental Marvels with “CARE” Calls (especially those who have expressed challenges during meetings).
• Connecting Mental Marvels with resources.
• Assisting with facilitation of topics, time keeping, and helping Mental Marvels follows group rules/plan.
• Assisting with identifying topics and speakers based on our mission and goals.
• Recruiting/retaining Mental Marvels participants.
• Assisting with identifying potential funding opportunities and events to assist with funding Mental Marvels.
Requirements
Our Wellness Coordinator is creative and has administrative experience and some knowledge of business/nonprofit development. They have
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and experience with working with the Microsoft Office.
Passion
The Wellness Coordinator has genuine care for others and enjoys helping. They are passionate about connecting our Mental Marvels to resources that help them expand their business/nonprofit and assisting them with achieving overall wellness.
Education
The Wellness Coordinator should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in the Mental Health or Wellness field.
